Hi Welcome to my blog on our Australia Trip, grab a coffee/tea, put your feet up and come along with us on our trip.
We were welcomed to Australia to a temp of 43 C and we sure felt it once we left the airport. Our friends Barb and Steve were their to meet us. And we have been staying with them 5/6 days. Of course us girls had a lot of catching up so you can imagine our tongues never stopped talking. This is our second visit to Barb and Steve. Barb is the one that introduced me to thread painting, and I would say I met Barb online almost like a pen pal except we use the Internet.
Sunday we took a walk around the area where they live, while they were visiting with her Dad. Here are some beautiful roses and flowers from people's gardens
Roses seem to grow really well here and lots of gardens have an abundance of them. Also another flower in white and blue/purple seems to grow well in gardens and on the side of the road. Steve says it grows as quickly as a weed.
This is the mountains that Barbs house looks out to she did tell me what they are called will have to check with her again.

Today we had a long drive along the Great Ocean Road so will share with you next time.
