The Great Ocean Road.

January 13th 2019

The Great Ocean Road.

After we left our friends Barb and Steve at Moolabark,Melbourne, we headed out to drive along the Great Ocean Road. Certainly a lot better weather than last time. Beautiful blue skies and fairly warm about 26c -30c.

We stopped at various viewing points along the way and hoping to be able to use some photo's for my thread painting.

We went to Lorne and Anglesea. We stayed overnight at Anglesea at a lovely hotel.

Then next morning continued along the Ocean Road.

We stopped at the Loch Ard Gorge and it is a site of where two people survived a shipwreck.

The water is so many shades of blue and the wind was fairly strong and the waves were fascinating to watch  crashing on the beaches. We watched the wind surfers cresting the huge waves ,
will have to show you those when I get home to download to my laptop. Though I love my I Pad it can be quite limited at times and also have to watch it doesn't change the wording, because then it can totally change meaning of what you have written.

Signing off today and will be back with some more shots?
